A Chic Black And White Look With Our Sophie Boucle Blazer

A Chic Black And White Look With Our Sophie Boucle Blazer

Hope you all had a nice and peaceful weekend. We had a fun “Face Time Wine Hour” with a couple of our friends on Saturday which was a nice change and lifted out spirits. We will probably use zoom video chat next time on an Ipad, as I think it will be easier and we will be able to see everyone better than on a phone!

Are you doing any Face Time / Zoom video calls with friends? Isn’t it a really nice way to stay in touch?

OK for my style feature today, I have styled our chic Sophie Boucle Blazer, which I first featured for you here. This time around I wanted to style this blazer in a little more laid back and casual way. The main reason is to show you how easy it is to dress down a blazer that normally feels dressy.

I chose to go with an easy black and white look, starting with my white skinny jeans and our Black Rayon Modal Knit Tank Top. This tank top is one of our basic jersey tops that we run all the time. It is a great layering piece but as the weather gets hotter for summer, it can work on its own as well.

The straps are wide enough to comfortably wear a bra underneath. The body is loose and easy with the sides slightly shorter than the front and back.

As you can see in the photos, I have left the top out so you can see the length. Leaving the top out already makes this outfit more casual and comfier. So, when I add the blazer, the whole look is more laid back.

The Sophie Boucle Blazer is a timeless classic piece that will never go out of style for you. It is made out of a black and ivory tweed/boucle Italian made fabric. The fabric is actually not heavy and it has no wool, making it easy to wear year-round and perfect for spring.

The body is a traditional one button blazer with a collar, lapel and two patch pockets. There is also a self-fabric fringe detail all around the collar and lapel, pockets and bottom of the sleeves.

For this look today, I chose two matte silver pieces of jewelry, our Matte Silver Multi Chain Y Necklace and Matte Silver Hoop Earrings. I think both pieces look great with the outfit. You can either pair them together like I have done or just go with one piece on it’s own.

As for shoes, I chose to wear my black mules, however you can wear this same outfit with more casual flats or sandals which will work just as well. I also added my small red bag for a pop of color.

All four pieces I am showing you today are part of our 24-HR Flash Sale where you can get 15% OFF with code FS428 plus Free US Shipping.

All Canada shipments are a flat rate of $25.00. All other international shipments are a flat rate of $35.00.

Just a reminder that our online shop is open and operating as normal, as I am personally doing All the shipments in a safe & clean working environment.
