A Couple Of Fun Transitional Looks

A Couple Of Fun Transitional Looks

Transitional periods between seasons are a great time to mix mid tone colors together. One of these color combos that I personally love is olive and coral. So for today’s style feature I combined two of our items in this color palette.

Our Olive Two Pocket Cargo Jacket is a great casual jacket that can work all the way into early fall. Olive is always a great transitional color because it mixes so well with neutrals, dark’s or brights.

This jacket has all the stylish detailing of a cargo jacket with pockets and drawstring belt, plus the sleeves are actually long, but you can fold them up and use the tab detail if you want to wear them at a three quarter length.

This olive shade cargo jacket looks beautiful with our Coral V Neck Short Sleeve Top. This top is one of our rayon modal jersey staple tops and the fabric feels like butter and the body is easy to wear and long. You can see better photos of it in our shop here.

When I put the jacket and the top together, I noticed how well our Peach Water Color Painting Scarf looked with them. This is a beautiful scarf in a soft silky fabric. The print truly looks like a water color painting and the colors work really well the both the top and the jacket.

For a second outfit option today, I wanted to debut our super fun and trendy Leopard Print French Terry Knit Top today, which we just added to our shop.

As I have mentioned before, leopard prints are going to be huge this fall and this one is a really pretty one. This leopard print is printed on a soft French terry fabric and the color combo is cream/black/taupe. The body is a poncho style and loose, but it has two sleeves like a regular top.

Since the neckline is a boat neck, you can wear it a few different ways which I have shown you below. My personal favorite is slightly off one shoulder with a camisole strap showing.

As for jewelry today I added a necklace and a bracelet, both of which are a gold and silver combo. Our Gold and Silver Chain Clover Necklace Set and Matt Gold and Silver Teardrop Shape Bracelet. Keep in mind with the necklace, since it is a set, you are getting two necklace in one.

All six pieces I am showing you today are part of our 24-HR Flash Sale where you can get 15% off with code FS82 plus Free US Shipping. All international shipments are a flat rate of $25.00

Before I go I wanted to mention that my husband and I are leaving for Spain this weekend for a 10 day holiday, so there will be no blog style features stories for the next couple of weeks.  We will be traveling to Madrid, Toledo, Avila, Segovia and Seville and I will be doing a recap of our trip when we return with lots of photos and information for those of you who are interested in traveling to this region of Spain.

  1. I love the olive and coral together – the coral looks great with a tan! Fab leopard print top too. I went to Madrid three years ago and absolutely loved it! Try the Mercado de San Miguel tapas market…it’s amazing! Also worth a visit is Retiro Park, and if you like football you can have brunch overlooking the pitch at the Bernabéu stadium. I wrote a post about my visit: http://www.style-splash.com/travel/long-weekend-madrid/

Hope you have a wonderful trip!
