A Second Look At Our Butter Lightweight Shirt Jacket

A Second Look At Our Butter Lightweight Shirt Jacket

Hope you all had a great Memorial Day weekend and welcome to the first day of June! As we get further into spring and closer to summer, light weight jackets and cardigans become more and more relevant. For this reason, I think it is the perfect time to show you our Butter Lightweight Jacket for a second time.

I first styled this jacket or shacket as it is called these days for you, here. Shackets are a combination of a shirt and a jacket. They are really well suited for spring and summer when you don’t want to wear heavy jackets. This one is in a pretty butter color which is actually almost a neutral. It is also a very similar color to Pantone’s “Buttercream” color for their Spring 2021 color trends.

The fabric is so soft and lightweight, and the body is loose and slightly oversized. It has a collar and a cascading soft lapel. The sleeves are long; however, there is a tab you can use to fold them up and wear them as ¾ length and for detail It also has two welt pockets in the front.

For today’s style feature, I decided to wear it over an all-black look, combining our Black Round Neck Short Sleeve Top with my own black slim Bermuda shorts.

The top is one of our rayon modal jersey tops that is a great all-around top to wear as a layering piece or on its own. I have tucked in the front, but you can see the length on the side view or in our store photos.

For a scarf, I am wearing a new piece, our Sage Pink Yellow Snakeskin Print Scarf which looks great with the shirt jacket. We have this scarf in two other color ways which you can see here and here. As for a necklace I am wearing our beautiful Gold Tone Ancient Coin Pendant Necklace.

All four pieces I am showing you today are part of our 24-HR Flash Sale where you can get 15% off with
