A Second Look At Our Ivory Boucle Moto Jacket

A Second Look At Our Ivory Boucle Moto Jacket

Up until today, I had not left my house for 4 weeks, but this morning I finally had to venture out to go the bank as I had been putting it off for too long.

After putting on my gloves and mask I got into my car and suddenly realized how strange it felt especially driving on near empty streets. Normally our neighborhood is packed with cars and traffic. I managed to do what I had to do at the versa-teller and got back home within 15 minutes.

We are getting some good news in California about flattening the curve and some optimism about slowly reopening some things but still with a lot of caution. I think even after reopening our lives and what becomes the new normal will be quite different from the past.

It is challenging but we have come this far, and we can keep going until everyone is safe. This is just a new norm we have to get used to so I hope you are all doing well and staying safe.

For today’s look, I have restyled our Ivory Boucle Cropped Moto jacket which I first debuted for you here. This boucle jacket is one of those year-round jackets that you can wear for spring and take it into fall.

It is made out of a beautiful ivory color boucle fabric that is not too heavy. It has all the moto jacket styling features with chrome zipper closures in the front and on the sleeves. It also has two chrome snaps on the lapels.

There is a functional chrome zipper in the bottom of the jacket, but to me it is more of a styling detail that actually allows you to unzip the bottom part of the jacket if you want. It is fully lined in a soft ivory lining and has one chest pocket with a zipper.

I am wearing it with my black skinny cropped jeans and in order to add some color into the outfit for spring, I am wearing it with our Mint Stand Collar Short Sleeve Blouse.

This blouse is the same body as the Papaya one I styled for you a few days ago and you can see that color here. It also comes in a watermelon color and you can see that color here.

The fabric in this top is soft and silky, and the body is loose and easy to wear. It has a stand collar with a V neck opening that finishes in a placket. We only have a few pieces left in this top.

As for jewelry I decided to stick with a silver theme to go with all the hardware in the jacket. So, I added our Silver Chain Necklace with Silver Pendant and Beads and Silver and Faux Rhinestone Link Earrings.

Both jewelry items also come in a gold color way and you can see those pieces  here and here.

All four pieces I am showing you today are part of our Weekend Flash Sale where you can get 15% OFF with code FS418 plus Free US Shipping.

All shipments to Canada are a flat rate of $25.00 and all other countries are a flat rate of $35.00.
