A Second Look At Our Olive Cargo Jacket

A Second Look At Our Olive Cargo Jacket

I first styled our Olive Cargo Jacket for you back in February with a transitional fall into spring look. You can see that look here. Today I have styled this jacket for you again in a look that works perfectly for early spring. Olive is another one of those colors that can easily go from fall into spring depending on what colors you combine it with.

One sure way to do that is to style it with lighter or brighter colors and let the olive be your neutral.  Today I have styled it with a brand new blouse that works perfectly with this jacket. It is our Ivory Olive Stripe Peasant Blouse which is a soft, loose and easy top you can wear for spring and summer. The olive stripes work nicely with the olive jacket, but it can work with a lot of other colors as well. The sleeves are quite full but you can still wear it under a jacket since the fabric is light weight.

I wore both pieces with my skinny jeans and added our Earth Tone Abstract Print Scarf Shawl with Tassels which is another piece that works perfectly with this olive jacket. This is a very pretty light weight scarf with cute tassels at each end. It also looks great with the blouse on its own. Sometimes just adding a scarf to a blouse can make the whole look more interesting especially if there is a pattern mix like there is with these two pieces.

As for accessories, for a change, I chose to wear earrings instead of a necklace with today’s look. However, any type of necklace will look great with this blouse as well. I wore our Gold Tone Clover and Pearl Earring with Chain Tassel. This is a very pretty earring and the pearl part picks up on the ivory part of the blouse.

I also added a couple of our bracelets which I think look great with this look. You can wear each bracelet on its own or together as I have shown you. I also love stacking them with my watch sometimes. The two bracelets are our Brown Tan Gold Bead Bracelet and Pastel Iridescent Bead Bracelet with Rust Pendant Stone.

To finish off the look, I wore my brown gladiator sandals and added an orange Gucci bag as my pop color. You have seen me add a pop of color with shoes and bags before and I think it is a great fun way to add color to a neutral outfit.

All 6 pieces I am showing you today are part of our 24-HR Flash Sale where you can get 15% off by using code FS41 plus Free US Shipping. All international shipments are a flat rate of $25.00.
