A Southwestern Inspired Camel And White Look

A Southwestern Inspired Camel And White Look

There is a lot of buzz about Southwestern themed trends for Spring 2019 especially with prints. So for today’s look I have drawn inspiration from Southwestern colors and details. I love the color palette that comes along with this theme, like camel, brown, rust, and turquoise which you can pair with neutrals like white and tan.

Before I start talking about my outfit, I wanted to mention that you might notice something a little different about my photos today. Yes, I am not wearing any sunglasses in any of my photos!!

Normally I love wearing sunglasses with all my outfits, as I think they make the look more stylish. The other reason is the fact that we always shoot outside and it is usually too bright, so sunglasses are helpful in making me not squint in every photo. Last week while we were having a busy and hectic day where everything goes wrong, I forgot to take my sunglasses with me when we were going out to shoot. I actually think the pictures came out okay and I usually try to include both looks with or without sunglasses on all my blog stories so I was relieved.

So what’s the story behind my Southwestern inspired outfit? Well I started off with one of our new tops, our Heather Tan Multi Color Feather Print Graphic Top. I love this graphic print of the four feathers and the colors are really what inspired me to go with a Southwestern inspired look. There are also very small silver studs scattered randomly on top of each of the four feather prints. The body is loose and the fabric is our staple soft rayon jersey that we use on a lot of our tops.

Even though you can wear this top with many colored bottoms including black and blue denim, I chose to style it with my white skinny jeans, for a different look. As for the jacket, I included our Camel Faux Suede Cascading Collar Jacket which works perfectly with the top.

I have styled this jacket before back in the fall, but it is one of those pieces that you can easily take into spring. It is made out of a super nice lightweight faux suede and the sleeves can be worn long or folded up with a tab and button, like I have done for today’s look.

As for accessories, I decided to go with our new Matte Gold and Silver Teardrop Shape Bracelet. This outfit can easily work with silver or gold and that is why I chose this bracelet. However, for earrings I went with our brand-new Gold Tone Oval Shape Hoop Earrings. These earrings also come in silver, we recently sold out of them in one day but we have restocked them. In case you like them better in silver you can see them here.

All four pieces I am showing you today are part of our Weekend Flash Sale where you can get 15% off with code FS32 plus Free US Shipping. All international shipments are a flat rate of $25.00.
