Our Blossom Print Jacket Perfect For Summer
We are only two weeks away from the official start of summer. With the kids being out of school and the weather warming up in most of the country, we are all getting in the mood to hit the pools, beaches and participate in outdoor activities that are so fun during summer.
Last weekend we attended one such event in the downtown Pasadena historic district; Miller Alley is a great area with restaurants, shops and a movie theater. My husband and I love this area and often go there for a weekend night out. During the summer months they often organize special outdoor events like concerts or screening movies on a big outdoor screen which is really fun. This summer the organizers are collaborating with KCRW a local public radio station based out of Santa Monica that we love on a series of of outdoor concerts called “KCRW Summer Nights”.
These are outdoor events performed all across Southern California at various venues during the summer months organized by KCRW that showcase numerous talented artists and DJ’s from the radio station and they are all open to public and free of charge.
Saturday night we went to dinner in Pasadena and then enjoyed one of these “Summer Night” performances by Sofi Tukker and DJ Valida ( a New York Duo) at the Miller Alley in Pasadena. It was nice to be outdoors and listen to some great live music, have a drink and a little dance. I am sure we will be attending a few more of these events over the summer. I have included a few photos below for you to see.
As for my outfit, I wore our brand new Blossom Floral Print jacket which is the perfect jacket for summer. First, because its white with a colorful floral print and second it is lightweight and unlined and easy to throw on when you go out at night or during the day when all indoor places are air conditioned. I also found the perfect necklace to go with this jacket which has a beautiful blue marbleized stone that works perfectly with the blue in the jacket. For our casual date night, I wore these two pieces with a white tank top and jeans and my tan platform sandals.

That is the perfect jacket for Summer and the perfect Floral Jacket all in one. I love the beautiful flower print and that it has pockets. I might have to treat myself with this. Also the new blue marbled pendant matches it perfectly. You styled this so simple, chic and fresh. Looks like you and your husband had a great fun date.
BTW I love the pop of Cobalt in your jacket. I am wearing cobalt today and I think this jacket would look wonderful over my dress. =) Come take a peak.
