Celebrate July 4th With Our Santorini Top

Celebrate July 4th With Our Santorini Top

A few years ago, we visited my husband’s sister who lives on the Greek Island Of Crete. During this time we were lucky enough to visit the beautiful Island of Santorini.  We unfortunately only had time for a one-day visit, but it was truly an amazing experience and I absolutely fell in love with this place.

If you have ever been to this special place or if you have seen photos, you will know Santorini offers a white canvas of architectural style buildings with doors and balconies painted in a dominant azure shade of blue. This blue is also used on the prevalent blue domes of the churches that are scattered across the island and they compose a picture seen nowhere else in the world.  It is this contrast of blue and white combined with the beautiful ocean color that makes this island so majestic and breath taking.

In my opinion it is a must see destination if you have not been yet. We all wished we were able to stay longer and I promised myself we will go back for a longer stay someday soon.

This cold shoulder top I am showing you today was inspired by the beautiful blue color I saw in Santorini.  The design is a cold shoulder top which is a big trend right now, with a loose body that is slightly shorter in the front than the back.  It works tucked in or left out as you can see below in my pictures.  Thinking about the Santorini color scheme, of course the first color that came to mind for pairing it with was white.  As the outfit was coming together, I thought to myself how perfect it is for this coming Fourth of July weekend!

It looks beautiful with white, but I know it would work with many other colors.  This top also looks great with our Blue marbleized necklace which I first debuted for you here.  To finish off the Fourth of July look, I painted my nails red and I also added one of our scarf/shawls that I think works well as a light weight shawl especially for summer.  It is perfect to throw over your shoulders at night for alfresco dinning or just sitting outside and enjoying the stars.

The three pieces I am wearing today are part of our 24-Hr Flash Sale where you can get 15% with code FS628 plus Free US shipping.  As usual, there are limited quantities.  If you order today we will do our best to ship out today or tomorrow for a 2-3 day shipping so you can get it before July 4th.

  11. Hi Nora, great outfit as per usual, the colour blue suites you beautifully and I like the way you manipulated with the scarf.

Funny enough, we were in Santorini in March this year and the weather was rather cold but we still loved it. It is a gorgeous place to visit.
