Color Trend Alert Marigold

Color Trend Alert Marigold

One of Pantone’s spring 2021 colors that I personally love is called Marigold, which is a very pretty shade of orange.

For today’s look I am showing you a brand-new cardigan in this wonderful color. I preferred calling the color tangerine for our cardigan as I didn’t want to call it marigold, but it is pretty much the same shade of orange.

Our Tangerine Crochet Knit Cardigan is made out of a soft yarn with a very pretty open pattern. The back has a circular floral pattern in the middle making it very unique.

In our photo shoot I forgot to pose with the back showing but I have added a store photo below that shows the pattern in the back.  The cardigan is finished with a nice self-fringe detail.

I am wearing the cardigan today with our new Heather Blue Round Neck Short Sleeve Top. This is a new addition to our staple rayon modal jersey tops.

This color is a heather shade of blue. I know in the photos the color may look a bit gray, but in person it is more of a blue and it is very pretty.

We have the same top in an oatmeal color, which I have styled for you before and you can see that item here.

For accessories with today’s outfit – I have two new pieces that both have shades of orange and blue in them, hence working perfectly with this outfit.

The first one is our Blue Orange White Aztec Print Scarf Shawl.  This Aztec inspired print is printed on white dot textured fabric in pretty shades of orange and blue. The necklace I am wearing is our Semi Precious Stone Lariat Necklace which is also a combo of the same color plus a bit of turquoise and gold.

All four pieces I am showing today are part of our Weekend Flash Sale where you can get 15% OFF with

  1. I didn’t know that marigold is similar to that of orange. I always assumed it was kind of a yellowish things – I couldn’t be more wrong! I love how easy and breezy this outfit looks. The cardigan has a lot of beautiful details that I can’t get enough! Another great look Nora!

    1. Hi Maureen,
I agree, marigold is a bit more yellow, but Pantone’s Marigold color is more an orange. Not sure why they called it Marigold but it is very pretty. Thank you for stopping by!
