Cool Blue Shades For Fall

Cool Blue Shades For Fall

We might as well admit that blue is a neutral since we can pretty much wear it anytime of the year. Maybe its because denim is blue and we all wear so much denim that blue seems to work all year round too. But for this fall there were also a lot of blue shades on the runways as well. They came in all shades and they were not all as dark and deep as you might expect.

Blue is also a color that pretty much looks good on all skin tones so that also makes it easy to wear. Today I have a couple of fun pieces for you in blue shades and yes you can wear them for fall.

The first item is a great Blue Plaid Shirt with Roll Up Sleeves. It is made out of soft rayon fabric and printed in a plaid pattern in beautiful blue shades. It has a collar with a V opening but no buttons. The sleeves are long but you can roll them up and use the tab and button to keep them rolled up. The body is loose and easy with the sides being slightly shorter than the front and back.

It just so happens that our Butter Cascading Collar Belted Duster Coat, which I have styled for you a few times before, works perfectly with this shirt. So, I decided to throw it on with this look. This is a great soft duster coat you can wear with many items. It also looks great over dresses and skirts. We only have a few of these left, if you like them get them now before they sell out.

The second new item is a super cute sweater I am calling our Sky Blue Lace Up Sweater. The lace up detail has been such a big trend especially in sweaters. What I love about this one is that the eyelets for the lace up are finished with an antique style brass eyelet. The sweater itself is made out of a soft cotton blend yarn. The body is loose with the front being couple of inches shorter than the back. The sleeves are slightly belled in the bottom, but you can easily roll them up for a cuffed look. I have shown you both looks in the style shoot below.

As for jewelry I have a great set of bracelets for you today. Our Set of Three Blue Green Iridescent Bead Bracelets are a beautiful set that you can wear all together or individually. They are made out of pretty iridescent beads in blue green, tan and neutral shades. They will also make a great gift for someone on your list for the upcoming holiday season.

I wore all these pieces with my Rag & Bone dark wash bootleg jeans, black booties and a tan bag as a pop color.

All four pieces I am wearing today are part of our Weekend Flash Sale where you can get 15% off with code FS113 plus Free US Shipping. All international shipments are a flat rate of $25.00.
