Fall Trend Alert Mad For Plaid
Fall Trend Alert Mad For Plaid
We have just returned from our trip to one of the most beautiful places in the world that I have ever visited, Capri and the Amalfi Coast. If you follow me on social media, which I hope you do, you will have seen me posting pictures daily throughout our trip.
We had a wonderful time and I can’t wait to do a recap of our trip that will feature photos, tips and itineraries of the trip to help you plan your trip to this Unesco world heritage destination. I will be featuring this in a series of posts soon, so stay tuned.
Meanwhile, fall is finally here and I am excited to start showing you some of our fall merchandise in the coming months starting today with this stylish and trendy plaid vest with fringe.
A few weeks ago, I did a blog story about Fall 2016 textile trends and one of the categories I covered was plaids. As I mentioned then, they had been all over the runways for fall 2016 and you can already see a plaid merchandeise in stores. I personally love plaids especially for fall and I think the best way to wear them is to make them your main print/pattern. Of course they work perfectly with solids, but if you are going to mix them with other patterns, like stripes, florals or checks, makes sure the second pattern is smaller in scale and more subtle.
So today I want to introduce you to our Plaid vest with fringe which is made out of a soft flannel like fabric in a black/gray/ivory combo. The color combo already makes it a perfect piece for fall as it is super versatile to wear with may fall colors.
The body is loose with a little shape and it is finished around the edges with self fringe making it trendy and current. It has no front closure; however, you can belt it if you choose to. The best part is the two welt pockets in each side which come in handy to cover your hands in cooler weather.
One of my favorite color combos for fall is gray and cognac. When I was styling this vest I decided to add cognac as my accessory pop color with my belt, shoes and bag. It is even trending for this fall as Pantone has a color for fall 2016 called Potter’s Clay which is very similar to cognac.
To finish off my look I added one of my favorite new necklaces we have recently added to our web site. It is a double strand necklace made out of gray pearls, copper beads and rhinestones and it works perfectly with the vest. It also comes with matching earrings.
You can purchase our Plaid vest with fringe here and the Double strand gray pearl and copper necklace with earring set here.
What are your plaid favorite pieces this fall and how do you like our vest?

I am glad you enjoyed Italy and the Amalfi coast as Italy really is a gorgeous, dreamy destination. Cannot wait to see your vacation photos. I love Potter Clay/Cognac this season and I plan on wearing it a lot. Classic pumps.
The new plaid poncho vest in your collection is gorgeous and I might need it. I love it styled with the fun, edgy, raw-hem jeans. Well done Nora!

This fringed, plaid vest is such an eye-catching piece! I really like how it transforms your tee and distressed jeans look. I had not really given grey and cognac much thought as a pair before, but seeing it here has convinced me I need to give it a try. Thanks for linking up with Fabulous Friday, Nora.
