Fun Spring And Summer Looks In Blue

Fun Spring And Summer Looks In Blue

I have two fun and easy looks for you today and both are predominately blue. Blue is almost like a neutral as it is one of those universally flattering colors that everyone likes, wears and looks good in. I know all shades of blue are not for everyone but I think everyone can find at least one shade of blue that looks good on them.

Today I have two blue based looks for you. For the first look I am wearing our Ethnic Print Kimono Drawstring Jacket which is a perfect spring and summer weight jacket. The print has beautiful colors including blue and it is made out of a soft and drapey fabric. The sleeves are a kimono style but not too big and it has a self-drawstring belt that you can tie or leave open. I have shown you both looks below.

I wore this jacket over our Oatmeal Rayon Modal Knit Tank Top which picks up the tan part of the print. This tank top is a great layering piece, but you can also wear it on its own for summer. It is made out of a very soft rayon modal that we love and feels like butter against your skin.

I paired the two pieces with my skinny jeans and platform sandals for an easy breezy look.

For the second blue outfit today, I have a really cute new dress which can also be worn over swim suit as a cover up this summer. This dress is made out of nice soft rayon fabric and it has a kaftan style body with a beautiful lace trim on the two sides. The front has a multi-color embroidery detail with two ties that have cute pom poms on the end. It is a fun piece and you will be able to wear on so many occasions this summer.

Last but not least I have another beautiful handbag/clutch to debut today. The black one I debuted a couple of weeks ago has already sold out! This one is basically the same but is made out of a tan basket weave fabric with a beautiful multi-color beaded detail on the front.

As you can see the bag looks great with both outfits and it will work with so many other looks as well.

All four pieces I am showing you here today are part of our Weekend Flash Sale where you can get 15% OFF each item shown in today’s feature when you enter code FS518 and apply in the cart – you will also receive Free priority US Shipping. All international shipments are a flat rate of $25.00

Lovely pieces. The dress looks adorable on you – on me I would look pregnant. I would need to cinch in the waist with a belt and that would take away the look of the dress. You’re right – the right blue looks good on everyone.

    1. Hi Sherry,
Thank you! The dress is actually not that big but it is straight shape and actually it might look really cute with a belt! I have to try that 🙂 Thanks for stopping by.

  2. I love that dress! Very versatile! Have a great Sunday Nora!

  3. Love both pieces, Nora, especially the dress. You just slip it on and on your way.

    1. Hi Anna
That is so true about this dress! Thank you so much for stopping by.

  4. Nora, I got the dress and I was so impressed with the presentation and personal touches (hand written note! extra note on hang tag! pretty tissue!) that came with my order. Great job, fellow Otis Fashion alum!
I was too excited to do a slow “unboxing” for a blog post. Next time!

    1. Hi Anne,
No problem, I am so glad you liked it. Thank you for stopping by and writing this sweet comment. I always love happy customers especially one who is an Otis Alumni and friend like yourself.
