Introducing Our First Neck Tie scarf and Black Eyelet Jacket

Introducing Our First Neck Tie scarf and Black Eyelet Jacket

Last Tuesday I debuted our Ivory Eyelet jacket which I think is the perfect jacket for summer and today I want to show you its companion, the Black Eyelet jacket.  This jacket is exactly the same style as the Ivory one except its made out of a black eyelet embroidered cotton fabric instead of ivory.  It’s still super light and summery but can easily be taken into early fall.

For a while now I have been looking for some neck tie scarves to add to the website.  I have always loved wearing neck ties, either around my neck, on my bag or even as a pocket square with my jacket.  They have been trending big time recently and I have seen them all over the internet so I thought this would be a perfect time to add a few of them to our store for your consideration.

The one I am showing you here today works really well with the Black Eyelet jacket, as the colors are black, cream, tan and pink,  with pink being the pop color.  It has an Equestrian themed print reminiscent of the classic Hermes scarves that I love and they are made out of 100% silk so they are super soft as well.  The great thing about neck tie scarves is that you can wear them in so many different ways.

In today’s pictures, I have shown you two different ways you can wear them around your neck and one around your bag handle. You can see many more different ways to wear them if you click on the actual product pages in the store. We have also added a Floral print neck tie scarf and you can see that one here.

There is something very French about wearing silk neck tie scarves, so as soon as I put mine on with my Black Eyelet jacket, I wanted to add a stripe top, hence my black and white stripe tank top.  Of course it will also work with a other kinds of top and I think it will be really pretty with a pink top to pick up the pink in the scarf.

I chose to wear it with my culottes, but I can see it with many different bottoms like wide leg pants, skinny jeans, short or even a summer dress.

To finish off the look with accessories, I added our brand new Gold tone necklace with black stone and yarn fringe and two of our Black bead bracelet with oval hematite pave. We only have two of these bracelets left so if you are interested now is the time to grab them.

All four pieces are part of our weekend Flash Sale where you can get 15% with code FS625 plus Free US shipping.  As usual limited quantities.

    1. Hi Amy
      Thank you so much.

  4. You do look very French, Nora! I love the big button on the jacket and you know how much I love a fabulous scarf! I actually do need to add to my neckerchief collection. I really only have the tiny square ones but I am really digging the larger squares right now. This is one of my favorite outfits of your, I think. Absolutely chic and stunning!

  6. […] Our Black Eyelet embroidered jacket is a combination of both.  It is a pretty classic blazer with a few novelties, with the main one being the eyelet embroidered fabric.  It also has a ribbon detailing all around the collar and pocket flaps and one big button which is more for decoration than function.  There is a snap behind the button but I think most women will wear this jacket open.  I first styled this jacket for you here.
