Introducing Our Tie Dye Fringe Cardigan
Introducing Our Tie Dye Fringe Cardigan
As I mentioned in my blog story last week, I have been busy working on some new fall products for the Jacket Society online store. Ever since I opened our shop on our web site, I have been growing steadily thanks to you all. I love the interaction I get from my customers who write to me and comment and then return for more purchases, It really inspires me every day and makes me want to continue doing what I am doing and add even more products so everyone can find something they like.
This fall I wanted to add more of a variety of outerwear to the online store, including a small selection of softer cardigans and sweaters, capes and ponchos on top of my selection of jackets and blazers. I will also be adding some wraps and shawls to our scarf section and expanding the jewelry line over the next few weeks. This way I hope I will have something for everyone who stops by to check out the store.
I have already added three new softer cardigans and cape jackets to our web site. If you follow me on Instagram here, Facebook here and Twitter here, you have already seen some of the photos.
This week I wanted to style our new tie dye cardigan, since it is quite light weight and a very good transitional piece to take into fall, but can even be worn next spring. It is made of a soft rayon/spandex and because it has been washed and tie dyed, it feels even softer. The tie dye is a great color combo of black and tan which make it really versatile to wear with many things. The fringe detail is a great way to make it current and right on trend.
I chose to style mine this week with a dress and pointy booties as it is still super-hot here in Los Angeles. I think this cardigan works with my dress but it will also look fabulous with black or blue jeans and boots. I also added one of my favorite new necklaces that has a beautiful pendant with stones and tassels that hang in the bottom and I think the two pieces complement each other really well.
The tie dye fringe cardigan is available here and the necklace here.
I would love to hear your thoughts on this cardigan and the other softer pieces we have added to our web site. Do you like this idea and would you like to see more pieces like this?

Everything about this look is perfection. I love your new array of soft cardigans and the fringe and pattern on this one are perfect for anyone that wants a boho vibe without investing that much. This can easily transform a t shirt and jeans into a full on ensemble!

What a great cardigan! I love how long it is, it covers the butt so it can be worn with leggings….always a plus. Great fringe detail. Great necklace too!

Hi Andrea,

I loved the cardigan and was ready to order…and then I saw how short the back was compared to the front. I’m a long-waisted, tall gal – so I’m worried wearing this with leggings isn’t going to fly. Love the design/tie dye/look – just wished it were long in the back.
-
Hi Mere,
Thank you for your feed back. The back still comes to the bottom of one’s hip area and then you have the fringe which covers too. I can give you the measurement for the back if you tell me what size you would be interested in?
