Layering Light Weight Pieces For Early Fall

Layering Light Weight Pieces For Early Fall

Hello everyone, I am currently in Las Vegas attending the “Magic Show” which is an Industry fashion marketplace for where you can go as a store owner to source apparel, jewelry, accessories and footwear. There is also a large section for sourcing fabrics, trims and other items, so for designers like myself, this is a very beneficial show to attend.

Not only can I shop for new products for Jacket Society, I can also come up with new ideas and materials for items I design and create for the store.

This show happens twice a year, once in February and again in August. This is the first time we have done the August show and this time around the whole show is in one location at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

We arrived here on Sunday and spent some time relaxing after the drive by the pool and then attended the show yesterday which was the first day. Today will be our last day and we will head home tonight. I am super excited for all the great items and materials we have found at the show and I can’t wait to start putting things together for this fall and next spring and share them with you all in the near future right here.

As for today’s look, I have put together a few of our light weight pieces to create an early fall or transitional look. This is one of the best ways to ease into fall. Layering light weight pieces to create a fall look when it is still hot outside, but you want to look fall ready.

I wanted to style our Gray Plaid Oversized Duster Coat with our White Peasant Top with Embroidery, because the two items look really nice together. They both have an easy and fluid feel and look great paired together. The duster is loose and over-sized, it has no lining, shoulder pads or front closure making it a relaxed item to throw on for any occasion.

The white peasant top is a great white top to wear now for summer and take into early fall to wear under jackets and blazers. It has a small delicate embroidery detail in the front with two ties with tassels at the ends.

As for accessories, I have two new pieces with the first being our Blue Mustard Gray Multi Pattern Print Scarf Shawl, and the second our Matte Silver Hoop Earrings.

The scarf is the same pattern as our Green Black Rust Multi Pattern Print Scarf Shawl which I debuted last week, and we only have a few pieces left as people loved it! You can see that color way here. This color combo of blue, mustard, gray is also a beautiful color combo that you can wear throughout fall.

For jewelry I chose to wear earrings instead of a necklace because of the embroidery in the front of the blouse, hence adding these new Matte Silver Hoop Earrings.  I practically wear hoop earrings on daily basis and personally love them in all shapes and colors.

I wore all these pieces with my black skinny jeans, wedge sandals and for a pop of color I am wearing my red Gucci cross body bag.

All four pieces I am showing you today are part of our 24 HR Flash Sale where you can get 15% off with code FS813 plus Free US Shipping. All international shipments are a flat rate of $25.00
