Life Updates And A Couple of Easy Summer Looks

Life Updates And A Couple of Easy Summer Looks

I hope everyone’s summer is going well and you are keeping cool wherever you may be. Our summer in Los Angeles has been pretty mild so far with only a few days of extreme heat so I can’t complain.

My son has finally moved into his own apartment nearby. He has moved out before as you may know when he went to university, but he has always come back for holidays and summer, and we have always considered him as still living at home. But this time he has moved out for good and even though it is sad to see your child leave your house permanently, I am happy for him and know that the independence of living on his own will be good for him. Plus, I can’t complain too much, since his apartment is close by and we get to see him often.

So now that he has moved on, my husband and I are doing some painting, remodeling and redecorating in our house which is always fun for me.  I have always loved interior design, almost as much as fashion design. They are very similar fields when it comes to satisfying your creative side and I have enjoyed choosing paint and trim colors while shopping for some new furniture, lamp shades and changing some artwork etc and things around to freshen up the look and feel of the house, its been fun so far.

We also have a couple of trips planned for August, so I am super busy trying to manage all these projects, not to mention coming up with lots of exciting new products for Jacket Society for fall.

By the way if there are any special requests for specific products for fall, I would love to hear from you. Your feedback is very important to me as I always try to offer products that I think my readers and customer would love.

Today I have a couple of easy summer looks for you all with two of our fun tops mixed with our White Kimono Jacket with Floral Embroidery, which is currently on SALE!

My first look today is with our Navy Pink Floral Cold Shoulder Knit Top which is a rayon jersey knit top with a pretty floral print. I love the way the floral print on the top mixes with the floral embroidery of the kimono. Also, the colors of white and navy with pops of bright colors are perfect for summer. The cold shoulder cut outs are pretty subtle and you can easily wear a bra and not worry about too much skin showing.

For a second top I have styled our Lilac V Neck Blouse with Shoulder Pleats, which also picks up on the lilac color in the floral embroidery of the kimono. This is a lovely soft blouse in a very pretty shade of lilac that is perfect for summer.

For a necklace I am wearing our Matte Gold Chain Necklace with Matte Gold and Silver Pendant. This is a stunning necklace that combines gold and silver which makes it easy to wear with any outfit.

I am wearing these pieces today with my white shorts and white high heel slides and added a gold straw clutch for a bag.

All four pieces I am wearing today are part of our Weekend Flash Sale where you can get 15% off with code FS72 plus Free US Shipping. All international shipments are a flat rate of $25.00
