A Midas Touch for Jacket Society’s Spring 2014 line - Just Style LA

Midas Touch for Jacket Society’s Spring 2014 line
When I started working on Jacket’s Society’s spring 2014 womens jacket line, it was clear to me that this season calls for lustrous shine and metallic touches regardless if it’s for day or evening. I have always liked a touch of shine here and there especially when its unexpected and you can wear it as part of your daytime wardrobe. I love gold as a color and anything made from gold metal. Maybe subconsciously that is why I chose the gold color to be a part of my logo. Its also because my skin color looks really good against gold so I always gravitate towards it.
When I was looking for fabrics for the Jacket Society spring 2014 jacket line, I came across this beautiful soft fabric in a light gold that has just a beautiful shimmer on its finishing, so it is not a “full on” metallic but it has a touch of gold to give it a nice sheen. I immediately decided to include it in my spring 2014 line of jackets, I also found a great gunmetal grey color which is just as stunning and beautiful in my opinion and I will share it with you in the near future.
As I write this blog story today, I actually have these jackets in gold and gunmetal grey in production and they should be ready for sale on our web site at beginning of May. Since I received the first sample for approval last week, I decided to wear it this weekend to show you all and hopefully get some feedback.
So what are your thoughts on wearing some metallics this spring? Would you prefer to incorporate metallic in your clothing or accessories?
