Mixing Textures Stripes And Prints

Mixing Textures Stripes And Prints

It was over a month ago when I debuted our fun Ivory Black Popcorn Cardigan with Pockets for you, so I thought now would be a good time to restyle it.

You can see the first look here. This cardigan is a perfect piece that you can wear now and take into early spring, since it is actually quite a light weight piece.

It is made out of an ivory and black popcorn yarn. Popcorn yarn is basically a textured yarn that makes the cardigan more unique. This one also has some chenille in it, making it super soft to the touch. The body is loose and easy to wear with long sleeves and two pockets in the front.

I also love the length of the cardigan. I want to remind you all that I am only a little under 5’4″, making my height average. Everyone always think I am taller. So don’t be afraid to go for a bit longer cardigans.

Last time I styled this piece over an all-black look, but for today I thought it would be a good opportunity to style it with lighter, brighter and more springy colors.

We have a new stripe top in our shop in ivory and black that works perfectly with this cardigan. Our new Ivory Black Stripe Loose Fit V Neck Top is such a great piece to take into spring. It is made out of a super soft knit fabric; the body is a bit loose and oversized.

It is just one of those tops that you will wear over and over again with so many items. I love how the texture of the cardigan mixes with the stripes of the top.

In order to makes things a little more interesting I have added a pretty printed scarf to the mix. This Pink Multi Color Feather Print Scarf with Small Sequins is a perfect spring scarf. It is light weight and soft and have beautiful soft colors and very small clear sequins woven into it to give it a bit of shimmer. It also comes in a blue color way and you can see that piece here.

To finish off the look I added our Black Bead Necklace with Black Tear Drop Pendant. I wore all these pieces with my jeans, black booties and a cross body bag.

All four pieces I am showing you today are part of our Weekend Flash Sale where you can get 15% off with
