My Favorite Looks From The Paris Spring 2015 Shows

My Favorite Looks From The Paris Spring 2015 Shows

Paris is the grand finale of the big four fashion show destinations for each season.  It was no different for this years Spring 2015 fashion shows.  Paris, the capital of fashion, as it has been referred to for many years was the last destination for all the fashion magazine editors, models, celebrities and bloggers to travel to.  And let me tell you it was worth the wait.
What makes a city like Paris a fashion capital is its history of course.  The fashion industry was founded in 1858 in Paris by Charles Frederick Worth, who was the first haute couturier.  Since that time so many famous names have started in Paris like Balenciaga, Dior, Givenchy, Chanel, just to name a few.  These design houses have been going strong for years and even though they have gone through many different designers they have managed to stay on top of the fashion world. Last week they certainly did not disappoint.  In my opinion Paris had the most beautiful collections for spring 2015.  This is not always the case for me and there are many times when I like New York or Milan more than Paris but this season I fell in love with a lot of the looks from Paris.  There were a lot of beautifully made, luxurious and chic looks that were timeless and classic and I think that is the true meaning of high end designer level fashion.

Here are some of the key elements and trends that I picked up from Paris spring 2015 shows:

  1. Lots of black and white
  2. Sheer and transparency
  3. Suede
  4. 70’s vibe
  5. Rope ties
  6. Belts and ties
  7. Feathers
  8. Stripes
  9. Pastels
  10. Mesh and cut-outs
  11. Fringe

It was extremely difficult for me to edit the Paris show pictures since I liked so many looks. Unfortunately I couldn’t show you all the looks in one post and I had to edit.  Below you can see the looks that I liked best.  In the mean time take a look my favorite fooks from the Paris Spring 2015 shows and let me know which ones are your favorites?

i would love to know why the models don’t smile….is it less chic? less cool?

      Hi Sharon,
I know what you mean and I think you are right a lot of designers find it sets a cooler vibe if the models are serious….thanks for stopping by!
