A New Take On The Nautical Trend

A New Take On The Nautical Trend

Nautical looks are a classic for spring and summer and I don’t know many women who do not like a good navy and white outfit. They always look so crisp and chic. Usually the go-to pop color for this look is red, however it can also work with yellow or no pop color at all. As for the accessories, my favorite color to use is gold and that is what I used in today’s look. However silver can work just as well.

Today I am showing you a new take on a nautical theme with a few of our brand new pieces: navy belted jacket with lace trim, navy and white stripe top and gold tone chain necklace with gold tone pendant. The navy belted jacket is a beautiful long jacket that has an intricate lace trim all around the bottom of it.  The body is loose and easy and the belt is optional as you can wear it belted or leave it loose and remove it all together.

You will see in the photos that for the loose looks I simply tied the belt in the back of the jacket which is another option.  It has long sleeves that can be rolled up and there is a tab and button detail that will keep it up which looks great for summer. I love the oversized collar that has a cascading effect when you wear the jacket open. The body is fully lined except for the sleeves and it has no shoulder pads. It is a classic piece that can be worn any season.

As for the navy and white stripe top, it is made out of super soft rayon lycra fabric with a loose and easy body.  The back neck is finished in a V shape with a one and half inch band going across it.  I tucked the front of the top in to show my gold chain belt but you can see the top left out in our shop photos. This top is also a classic piece that can be worn with so many different looks.

As for a pop color I chose to go with red for my shoes and use gold for my accessories.  I added my gold chain belt to start and then I added our brand new Gold Tone Chain Necklace with Gold Pendant. I finished off the look with our matt gold set of seven bracelets.

All four pieces I am featuring today are part of our 24-HR Flash Sale where you can get 15% off with code FS613 plus Free US Shipping. All International shipments are a flat rate of $25.00. Limited quantities on all the pieces so do not wait.
