Our New Cape Vests In Three Colors

Today I am showing you our brand new Cape Vests made out of a soft knit material in three beautiful colors. The knit is perfect for fall, soft and lush and it feels great next to your skin. It comes in three beautiful colors: pale pink, cream and black, all of which are very versatile and easy to wear with many items.

Even though it is called a cape vest, I want to clarify that it is a vest and it has two armholes so you wear it. The cape collar can hang over the shoulders for a cape look or you can scrunch it up to get a cascading collar look. Because these cape vests have a fuller volume look, I think they are best worn with slimmer bottom like skinny or straight leg pants, pencil skirts or shaped dresses. My suggestion would be to let the cape vest be your main volume piece. This also applies to what top you wear underneath. Shaped tops with slimmer sleeves look best with this silhouette. If you are going to wear a loose top underneath, make sure to wear it tucked in to show some shape at your waistline.

I wanted to show all three of them at once so I styled them with denim, but as you can see they will work perfectly with black, navy, brown, gray and so many other colors. Since I was wearing them with my skinny jeans, I decided to go with a more casual vibe by adding two of our graphic tees underneath which work great with all three pieces. I wore our Grifflin Paris blue graphic tee with the pale pink color and the Grifflin Paris graphic tee which is a combination of black/cream with the black and the cream color ways. I finished off the look with my point black booties, a black belt and Chanel vintage bag.
