Pattern Mixing In Black And Ivory

Pattern Mixing In Black And Ivory

Does anyone else feel a bit sluggish in the month of January?

Even though it is the month that we all write down our goals and set our intentions for the new year, it is sometimes hard to get the motivation to follow through with them right away.

The good news is we are almost at the end of January and since I have been feeling the January blues a little bit, I am ready to pull myself out of it and tackle my goals and plans for 2020.

For today’s look, I am mixing a couple of patterns in black and ivory. We have just added a couple of really cute neck scarves to our shop, so I wanted to use one of them in putting an outfit together for today.

Since the neck scarf, our Ivory Black Gold Geometric Print Neck Scarf, is a fun geometric print, I decided to combine it with our Ivory Black Stripe Sweater with Elbow Patches.

I love the mix of the geometric print in the scarf with the stripes of the sweater. Since they are both the same color combo, mainly ivory and black, it is easy to combine them. Both pieces are also great pieces to wear now and take into spring.

For a jacket, I am wearing our Ebony Boucle Moto Jacket which I have styled for you a few other times.

This jacket is a great piece not only because it is made out of a beautiful black boucle fabric, but the body is a moto style jacket making it casual, trendy and really easy to wear on daily basis.

Some of its stylish features include a custom self-fringe all around the collar and lapel, bottom of sleeves, princess seams and on bottom of the jacket. It also has great looking silver zipper closure on the front and both pockets. The best surprise about the jacket is it has a fun burgundy color lining.

For jewelry I am wearing our Black Bead Necklace with Black Teardrop Pendant. I wore all these pieces with my skinny jeans, black booties and black cross body bag.

All four pieces I am showing you today are part of our Weekend Flash Sale where you can get 15% OFF all of the items featured with code FS125 plus Free US Shipping.

All international shipments are a low flat rate of $25.00.

  1. Love this classic, casual look. Black and white or black with cream, ivory or off white is an easy way to make an outfit look classy, even without getting all glammed up. That sweater is adorable. I love stripes and the pattern mix of the scarf is perfect. I know what you mean about the January blues, but we are almost out of it. Spring will be here before we know it. – Amy
