Proportion Play With Our Fuchsia Top And Black Eyelet Jacket - Just Style LA

I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter and Passover Weekend! We had family over for an early dinner and some egg hunting fun for the kids. My son also joined us and that is always a treat.

Today I have a new tunic top for you which I think is a really fun piece. First of all, its in a color that is trending this spring and is one of the Pantone Spring 2017 colors called “Pink Yarrow”. I am just calling it fuchsia which is easier for everyone to identify with. I know fuchsia is one of those colors that you either love or hate but I think it is a flattering colors for a lot of skin tones since it comes from the pink family. Personally, my rule with any bright color is to mix it with neutrals, keeping the bright color as your pop color.

As for the body of this tunic top, it is semi loose but not oversized and it has two fun design details, one being the double ruffle sleeves and the second one the open side with a tie. Yes, you will need to wear a tank top or camisole under this tunic top as it is open on the sides. Please look at all the photos in the product section.

I decided to wear it today with my black skinny jeans and a black camisole underneath. As for a jacket, I added our Black Eyelet Embroidered jacket which I think works really nicely over this tunic, making a very interesting proportion play. I really like the proportion of the shorter jacket over the longer top.

This jacket is made out of a beautiful cotton eyelet embroidered fabric. It is fully lined with functional pockets and one big button in the front that has a snap behind it, but it is really more for decoration. It is a perfect light weight jacket for spring and summer to wear to work or any other fun outings. I will style the white one for you in the next couple of weeks. To finish off the look I added our Chanel inspired Gold and Black Suede Chain Knot Necklace with Tassels.

How was your Easter and how do you like look?
