Shades Of Yellow For Spring

Shades Of Yellow For Spring

Spring is officially here and one of the colors trending for spring 2017, according to Pantone is yellow.  They are calling the shade Primrose yellow which covers a variety of yellow shades.  Yellow is another one of my favorite colors especially for spring and summer. It is a joyful color that makes me think of cheerful and sunny days. Personally I always like mixing it with a darker color like black, navy, gray, brown etc.  I think the darker neutral shades tone it down and makes it easier to wear.

Today I am debuting our Canary Yellow V Neck Top, which is a pretty shade of yellow with an easy and loose body, making it great to wear on its own or layered under a jacket.  I have used it as a pop color for my mainly black outfit.  You can see two looks with it, one is styled with a brand new Black Lace Cardigan and the second look is with our Mondrian jacket which I have styled for you before.

The first look is with our Black Lace Cardigan which is made out of a soft lace in a semi shaped body that is finished with a black band in the front and has one button with a loop on top.  It has long sleeves with the sleeve being slightly bell shaped in the bottom and finished with a black band as well.  This is a great piece for spring and summer to wear over any top or dress to make it more stylish.

I am really excited about the necklace I am showing you today, our Chanel inspired Gold and Black Suede Chain Knot Necklace with Tassels. We had a similar necklace a while back and sold out of them very quickly.  It looks great with this outfit but it is such a classic and will work with many other looks.

Finally, in case you don’t like the top with the lace cardigan, I am also giving you the option of styling it with our Mondrian jacket which also looks great with it.  I wore both pieces with my black skinny jeans, lace up sandals and used my vintage Chanel bag to compliment the necklace.

All four pieces I am showing you today are part of our 24-HR Flash Sale where you can get 15% off with code FS321 plus Free US Shipping. Limited quantities as usual so do not wait to purchase if you like any of the pieces.

    • Hi Kris,
Thank you so much! I wear a men’s Rolex Oyster Perpetual watch that I have had for over 10 years in most of my pics. I have the men’s version becacuse I love big watches but it comes in women’s size as well. Its a classic.

  1. Yellow is so pretty on you! It is not a color I wear often and I don’t know why. I really like the texture that jacket adds, too to this otherwise solid colored outfit! The black lace cardi is adorable, too! I am really considering buying one of your striped/floral tops from your Spring collection… you have SO many cute items this Spring!

    • Thank you Carrie! You should give yellow a try for sure and as far as our striped/floral tees, you should get one for sure. I have had to restock them 3 times so they sell quickly. Don’t wait very long to get one.

  2. This yellow is a very pretty shade for spring. I really liked this look paired with the Mondrian jacket. Thanks for linking up and have a great week, Nora!
