Straw And Denim A Great Color Combo For Spring - Just Style LA

Last week I shared Pantone’s Spring 2020 colors on one of my blog stories. I also mentioned that I really like their spring colors this season and I am hoping to have a lot of similar color items in our store for spring.

Today I am sharing a look that combines two Pantone spring colors; Sunlight and Faded Denim.

The first item is a new sweater we just added to the store. It is a color that is very close to Pantone’s color “Sunlight”, but I am calling our version of this color, Straw because it has a little less yellow in it than the Sunlight. It is a very pretty shade of light yellow which is almost a neutral.

This sweater is knitted in a really nice yarn and the body is loose and a bit over-sized. It has a V neck opening and drop shoulders with long sleeves. The back is longer than the front with small side slits.

It is a piece that will look great over t-shirts like I am showing you today or even a tank top or camisole as the weather gets warmer. I am wearing it today over our Ivory V Neck Short Sleeve Top, leaving the top out, so it hangs out of the bottom of the sweater. I really like this layered look as it has a casual laid back yet fun vibe.

Since I am wearing the two items with my jeans, I also added our Blue Rust Brushed Leopard Print Shawl Wrap. The colors in this shawl look really nice with both the straw sweater and my jeans. It has a really nice soft brushed hand and it is a great piece for transitioning into spring.

As for jewelry today, I have combined two of our new necklaces together. As you know I love mixing necklaces and I think these two pieces look great together, but they still look great on their own and will still work with the outfit individually.

I am also wearing our Set of Six Ivory and Gold Bracelets with Charms which is one of our new bracelet sets we added recently. With this set you actually get six individual bracelets that you can wear many different ways
