Take A Look At Our Savannah Stripe Blazer Styled Two Ways

Here is another new spring blazer, this is the Savannah stripe blazer, which is sister to the Sonoma stripe blazer. They are both the same blazer body with three quarter length sleeves, which are perfect for the spring season. The Savannah stripe is a beautiful grey color with very fine pinstripes in black and white. It is a classic style jacket to wear to work or casually over the weekend. For this reason I wanted to show you how you can easily style it for each occasion.

I did a story like this couple of weeks ago where I showed you how easy it is to change your whole look by simply changing into a different bottom. This is basically the same concept, where I am showing you our Savannah jacket styled for work with a dark grey pencil skirt and my blouse tucked in to give it a polished and professional look. Then I change into my white flare jeans and leave the top out and get a whole new casual and relaxed look to go out in.

Last week I talked about combining stripe jackets with other pattern tops and I showed you an example by  combinning our Sonoma stripe blazer with a floral print top.  This week I wanted to mix the Savannah stripe blazer with a different kind of pattern. I came across this geometric print top at Forever 21 in their contemporary section, which actually has nicer quality merchandise and I tend to look for tops there more than in the other departments of their store. I really like this colorful geometric print and the way it works perfectly with the Savannah blazer to create an interesting mix, which is an option you can try as well.

I tried to find the link for this top on Forever 21’s web site but unfortunately I could not find it. You can check for it in stores as I only purchased it recently.

To finish off both looks I added one of our brand new necklaces with pearls and clustered beads that looked perfect with the blazer. You can find the Savannah stripe blazer here and the necklace here.

Again just a reminder about our great Mother’s Day Sale happening right now on our web site where you can get 20% off your total when you spend $100.00 or more. This sale will end next Sunday (Mother’s Day) so make sure you take advantage of it while it lasts.

Which look do you like better and what do you think of our Savannah stripe blazer?

  1. Changing the bottoms really does make two totally different looks Nora. I think my favourite is the jacket teamed with the skirt but both look gorgeous.

  3. There is such a sophisticated ease to your look. I’m enjoying it. While cleaning out my closet, I remembered a striped seersucker blazer I own. I immediately thought of you and felt encouraged to wear it more often. I purchased it many years ago at a great price and can’t remember wearing it once. Sad but true. BTW, I ventured into Loft to try the sunnies. Unfortunately they didn’t suit my face shape.

  20. I love that the stripe is so subtle on this jacket….from far away I would have sworn it was a solid grey! I’m one of those that can’t pick a fave—both are fabulous and I’d wear them!! The shirt is such a great print too (and from Forever 21—a great example of how anyone can shop at any store)!! jodie

Yes the stripe is very subtle and in photos it almost looks like a solid, this is what makes it an easy stripe for anyone to wear. Thank you so much for stopping by.
