Take Another Look At The Beverly Jacket
Take Another Look At The Beverly Jacket
A couple of months ago I featured my Beverly jacket, which is one of our best sellers, as my intro jacket for spring. I think one of the main reasons that it sells a lot is it is so versatile. It is a great spring jacket for the office and you can also easily dress it down with jeans and wear it on a weekend outing, lets take another look at the Beverly jacket.
The first time I featured this jacket; I showed it with some casual distressed jeans and made it cool and casual. This time I wanted to show it in a bit of a dressier and office friendly look. So I am wearing it here with my grey pants and some nice high heel sandals, but I think what makes the whole outfit more interesting is my cool top. I bought this top recently from Zara. Currently they have a bunch of t- shirt tops with cool graphics on them. I have never really been someone to wear graphic t-shirts, but this top is really a bit more than that. The material is a really nice silk in the front and a soft jersey knit on the back with mesh sleeves and detailing, and the graphic on the front is a beautiful sketch drawing of a face with a splash of pink and purple color. It is a more modern and classy version of a graphic tee. When I saw it, I thought it would be a great mix of patterns with my hounds tooth Beverly jacket. I have always liked the menswear trend of mixing a graphic tee with a blazer, so this is my way of doing that.

Fabulously pulled together, Nora! I love the mix of your classy jacket with more casual trousers and the cute T-Shirt. Usually I am not a fan of printed shirts but this is really great, the fresh colours are gorgeous!

This is the most wonderful outfit I have seen in ages!!! It bridges the edgy sophisticate look I have been striving for as I am about to turn 50! The jacket makes it amazing! I would like some sizing/fit info on the wonderful blazer, as I live in Canada and would probably be paying a lot for shipping and duty (but I love it enough that if it fits I have no problem with that). You are a very slim build. I am not. I am wondering how large the large is. Thanks for any information you can provide.

Hi Kristen,
Congrats on turning 50 soon! Thank you for your wonderful compliment. We are working on a size chart to add to the site. Meanwhile I will send you a seperate email with specific measurement for the Beverly jacket.
