Tickled Pink In Our Stripe Lace Up Tunic

Tickled Pink In Our Stripe Lace Up Tunic

Anyone who thinks shawls and wraps are for fall and winter, couldn’t be more wrong.  Even though they are perfect for colder seasons when they supply warmth and style at the same time, they can be a great accessory during spring and summer as well.

Here are some of the ways they can work during summer:

  1. Chic cover up over bare shoulders at night.
  2. It is a practical wrap for air conditioned spaces.
  3. Use as a Sarong over your bathing suit.
  4. A pop of color for your monotone outfit.
  5. Easy to pack and a perfect way to keep warm and comfortable while traveling.
  6. Fashion statement when you belt them or wear them in unusual ways.

I wanted to style our Stripe lace up tunic a second time, the first time you saw this piece here.  This tunic is a perfect top for summer that you can wear on its own to go to work or to go out.  The vertical stripes are very flattering and sliming on any figure and the lace up detail in the front is right on trend.  Even though it looks great paired with a jacket, cardigan or vest, I wanted to style it for you with a wrap.  As I mentioned above, I think warps are a practical and stylish accessory for summer.

Because my outfit is black and white, I thought it would be nice to have a pop color for my wrap, so I came up with this beautiful and feminine pink wrap that has a lace inlay on both ends and a smaller lace trim all around the edge.  It is made out of a soft crinkled cotton fabric and feels really nice next to your skin.  I finished off the look with my silver heels and clutch and a stack of our Pale pink and gray bead bracelets mixed with our Black bead bracelets.  We only have 2 pieces left in the black bracelets.
