Two Easy Black And White Looks For Summer

Two Easy Black And White Looks For Summer

Today I have two easy black and white looks that you can wear right now and by changing it up a little bit take it into early fall. I have styled two of our black and white tops with my black shorts which are the “wear now” looks. However, by wearing both tops with black pants and adding a jacket or cardigan you can take them both into early fall.

The first top is our Ivory Black Print Top with Lace Insert which I first styled for you here.  You can actually see how great it looks with black pants there.

It is made out of a slightly crinkled rayon fabric. The base is ivory, and it has a black Aztec inspired stripe print. The shoulder area has a pretty lace insert. The body is loose and long, with small buttons in the front. It has long sleeves, but you can fold it up if you prefer. I have shown you both versions below.

With this look, I chose to wear earrings instead of a necklace, so I added our Gold Plated Chandelier Earrings with Black Stones.

For the second top I am wearing our Black White Stripe Shirt with Eyelet Lace Yoke, which is currently on sale. Heads up, we only have a few pieces left of this. The best part about this shirt is that you can wear it many different ways.

Today I am showing you how it looks buttoned up and also tucked in, buttoned up and left out and completely unbuttoned as a lightweight topper over a camisole. This super cute shirt is made out of a great black and white stripe rayon fabric in a loose and easy shirt body.

The best part is the back yoke is made out of a cute white eyelet lace fabric. This unexpected combination of the stripe and the eyelet yoke gives this shirt a fresh and unique look, making it different from other basic stripe shirts.

With this shirt, I chose to wear our Black Bead Necklace with Black Tear Drop Pendant as my jewelry item. I finished off my black and white looks with my red cross body bag in order to add a pop of color.

All four pieces I am showing you today are part of our Weekend Flash Sale where you can get 15% off with

  1. When I don’t know what to wear I always go with black and white! Those shorts are super cute and I love the first top!

    1. Hi Jill,
You are absolutely right! Black and white is always chic. Thank you for stopping by.

  2. Both tops are so pretty! I really like the bohemian feel of the first one and how wonderfully versatile the second one is. You can never go wrong with a bold black and white stripe either!
