With spring right around the corner, I thought it would be a good time to take a look at Pantone’s Spring 2021 color trends. Bear in mind that these colors are Pantone’s New York Fashion Week colors. They also do a London one but I think for those of us living in USA, the New York one makes more sense.

Below you can see each color with the name and a little description for each one. The last 5 colors are what they are calling their neutrals. This year they chose two colors for “Color of the Year”. They are Illuminating and Ultimate Gray which I think are actually a great color combo.

Let me know what your thoughts are on the colors and which ones are your favorites. I personally like a lot of these colors as I think most of them are happy and uplifting color which is what we all need this year.

Which of these colors would you like to see in our spring/summer collection in our online store?

Marigold – A comforting golden orange infused yellow lends a warming presence.

Cerulean – The color of the sky on a serene, crystal clear day.

Rust – An earth inspired brown emblematic of Autumn leaves uncharacteristic of a spring palette.

Illuminating Color of the year #1 – Friendly and joyful, an optimistic yellow offering the promise of a sunny day.

French Blue – A stirring blue hue that awakens a vision of Paris in the springtime.

Green Ash – A mentholated Green that cools and soothes.

Thank you so much for your input! I love all the colors you mentioned too and I agree the willow is intriguing and even though I think it might be a hard color for some, I personally like it.

  2. SO many pretty colors! I already purchased a couple of items with the Cerulean color for this Spring! A top and a pair of peep toe booties!

    1. Hi Carrie,
Can’t go wrong with cerulean right? A pale blue is always pretty! Thanks for stopping by.

  3. So many beautiful colors! I am always a fan of Rust but I can see Illuminating and Mint as colors I am leaning towards to as warm weather approaches. Happy advanced Valentines Day Nora!
