Wearing Our Blue And White Stripe Shirts In Palm Springs

Wearing Our Blue And White Stripe Shirts In Palm Springs

I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter and Passover Weekend. Me and the hubs went up to Palm Springs for a quick one night getaway. Palm Springs is always nice this time of the year since the temperatures are in the mid to upper 80’s as opposed to closer to summer when it gets unbearably hot. We spend much of the first day laid by the pool, relaxing with a drink or two and then went out and did a little bit of shopping followed by dinner at Miros which was so nice sat outside on the patio.

Sunday morning we got an early start with brunch at Eight4nine on N Palm Canyon Drive followed by some more shopping and exploring in and around the Palm Springs area- It was perfect weather and is such and easy two hour drive from Los Angeles – we can’t wait to go back again.

I have two brand new shirts and a great necklace to debut for today’s style feature and knowing this fact, I took them with me to Palm Springs to do the photo shoot there.

Personally, I love blue and white shirts. Originally taken from a conventional menswear classic shirt, the women’s versions can be a lot more fun and unconventional with interesting design details. Today I have two such shirts to show you that i think you will really like.

The first one is our Blue and White Stripe Ruffle Shirt which I love. It is what I would call a classic stripe shirt with a twist. It is made out of a soft rayon fabric with a fun ruffle detail around the shoulders that continues to the sides. (Please check photos in the shop for close up details). You can wear this shirt buttoned up or leave it open over a camisole or tank top.  I have shown you both options in the pictures below.

The second shirt is our Sleeveless Blue and White Stripe Long Shirt with Side Ties. The fabric for this one is closer to a conventional chambray stripe shirt since it is 100% cotton. It has a crisp and classic look. It is more of a tunic length with the sides having a 10” opening that has two rope ties with tassels. (Please check photos in the shop for close up details). This shirt can also be worn buttoned up , left open all the way or half way as I have shown you in all the looks below.

I wore both pieces with my skinny white jeans, cognac platform sandals, bag and belt. As for jewelry, we have just added a great necklace that can be worn two ways, short or long. It is our Double Strand Necklace with Pendant, Tassel and Fringe. You can see it in the short version on the first look and the long version in the second look. I love how versatile and pretty it is at the same time. To finish off the look, I also added our Blue Ivory Gold Charm Bracelet, since the colors work perfectly with the two shirts.

All four pieces I am showing you today are part of our 24-HR Flash Sale where you can get 15% off with code FS43 plus Free US Shipping. All international shipments are a flat rate of $25.00.
