Wearing Pink And Blush In Winter

Wearing Pink And Blush In Winter

Certain colors like pastels or white are obviously perfect for spring and summer. But this does not mean you can’t wear them for fall and winter. Personally, I don’t believe in rules about what colors you can wear during each season. I think it all depends on how you wear the color and how you style the outfit.

Today I have two looks for you that have pink and blush in them and yet you can easily wear them in winter.

The first look is with a new cardigan that we have just added to our store. This Pink Gray Black Cardigan with Fringe is a beautiful and fun piece that can be worn now and taken into spring. It is made out of a multi-color soft yarn in pink, gray, black and ivory combo. The body is loose with kimono style sleeves and there is a super cute fringe detail that goes around the armholes and the sides of the cardigan.

I wore the cardigan with our Ivory V Neck Long Sleeve Top which is one of our great rayon modal jersey basic tops that we sell all the time. The cardigan looks great over this top, however you can easily wear it over another lighter weight sweater, turtleneck or mock neck top for colder climates.

For the second outerwear option, I restyled our Blush Faux Suede and Faux Shearling Cape Vest which I first styled for you here. This piece is available in black and taupe as well, which I just restyled for you last weekend and you can see that blog story here.

This cape vest in made out of faux suede on the outside and faux shearling on the  inside. It is a cozy and warm piece to wear now and look stylish at the same time.

To finish off the looks, I added our Silver Cross and Coin Necklace which looks great with both outfits.

All four pieces I am showing you today are part of our 24-HR Flash Sale where you can get 15% off with code FS122 plus Free US Shipping. All international shipments are a flat rate of $25.00.

  1. Both beautiful outfits Nora! I am in love with the pink, grey cardigan and those tassels on the sleeves are a nice touch. They are so fun and makes this piece unique. I can’t get enough!

  2. I may have to go with those staple tops you offer Nora, love the white tee under these pieces. The knit is gorgeous with the black and pink and of course I love the soft blush pink piece, so very pretty! You look stylish as always!

  4. I think I’ve been in love with the pink black and white combo since the early 80s when I first wore a black skirt, white top and pink jacket (which I’d made) and thought … YES!! Love what you’ve done here and my 30 year love affair with this mix surely proves that it’s timeless?!
