Work To Date Night In Our Marine Print Cascading Jacket

Work To Date Night In Our Marine Cascading Jacket

When I first styled our Marine print jacket for you back in February, I wore it for a Valentine’s day brunch.  I paired it with jeans, but added heels and jewelry to give it a sexier vibe for our date.  You can see that look here. It works perfectly with denim and I have personally worn it several times with my jeans since then.

Today I wanted to show you how you can style this jacket so it works for you straight from an office or day time look into a night time look.

The base outfit is the same for both looks.  I chose a white tank top and my white skirt.  However, the base can easily be a dress,  a slimmer skirt or pants and it can even be a different color.  It just has to be something that you don’t have to change out of. All you would need to change would be your shoes, bag, jewelry and in my case I added an optional belt.

The first look here is my morning/work look.  I chose to leave the jacket loose, wear tan mules and use a bigger bag.  I also added one of our necklaces since the jacket is loose and you can see the front of the outfit more.  This necklace is one of our new pieces and the best part about it is that you can wear it a few different ways, because the chain is adjustable.  Please take a look at this peice in our shop where I show all the different ways you can wear it.

For the second look which was the night/date look, all I had to do was take an extra pair of dressier heels, a clutch and I chose to add a belt to give the outfit a sexier look for the date night.  Since I belted the jacket, the necklace did not work as well so I added one of our statement earrings.  Changing into the second look was super easy and didn’t take more than 10 minutes.  I also retouched my makeup and switched to red lips instead of a neutral color lipstick.

You can get 15% off these three items as part of our weekend Flash Sale with code FS716 plus Free US Priority shipping.  The sale will end Sunday night at midnight.

Limited quantities available especially in the Marine print jacket, we have only a few pieces left so do not wait.

  1. I do like it without the belt, because it shows more of the dress. The belted look is a little more formal in my opinion and it looks great, too! Love the coloring of this cascading jacket. SO pretty!
