Today I am super excited to debut our new Paisley Tassel Kimono which I am totally in love with. In my opinion this piece is such a cute piece for spring/summer with just the right amount of trend. First of all, I love the mix of the two prints, geometric and paisley which complement each other so well, with one being more masculine and the other feminine. Second, the color combo is beautiful with mixes of navy, blue, tan and a little pop of orange. And to finish it off the cute cream color tassels hanging in the bottom. It is a great statement piece to throw over any outfit.
In the last couple of weeks, I have talked about wide leg pants/jeans and fit and flare ones as well and the fact that they are trending right now. I have shown you a few looks and given you a few pointers in how to wear them. Today I want to talk about the “cropped flare” pants/jeans trend which is the biggest trend happening for spring 2016. To be honest this silhouette was the hardest for me to work with. I am a little under 5’4” and I tried so many of them and found all of them made my legs shorter and were not very flattering. I finally found the pair that I am wearing today at Banana Republic, surprisingly enough. The reason this one works for me is that the flare in the bottom is subtle and not too wide and the leg part is slim. Also I realized I had to buy the petite version for the length to be cropped and hit my leg at the right place without having to hem it. This piece has a cute self fringe in the bottom so it is harder to hem without getting rid of the fringe, unless you can make fringe yourself which is not that hard to do. If you absolutely can’t find a flared version that you like, you can still use a straight cropped pant which is much easier for a lot of women to pull off. This will still give you that trendy look that is happening for spring.
I chose to style the cropped flares with our brand new Paisley tassel kimono, a simple cream top and my tan mules. Even though I can see myself wearing these jeans with some flat sandals as well, I like them better with heels. I think platforms will work well too. I finished off the look with our Y Cream bead and suede fringe necklace and earring set and our Pale pink and gray bracelet with round hematite pave and oval hematite pave stacked together. Last but not least I used my brand new mirrored sunglasses I have purchased recently from Bloomingdales and I can’t leave home without them. They are called Chelsea mirrored sunglasses and are made by Toms which was a big surprise to me as I didn’t know they make sunglasses let alone such fashionable ones.
These four items are part of our 24-hour Flash Sale where you can get 15% off with code FS426 plus Free US Shipping. Limited quantities so don’t wait.

I really like the crop flare trend lately, very cute and so unique… need to get myself a pair or I may even make a pair from an old pair of jeans.

I am really loving the crop flares this season too even though I am height challenged. I have found that I have to wear heels or it does not look flattering.
Thank you for being a part of TBT Fashion link up and hope to see you soon!
