A More Feminine Way To Wear The Avery Jacket
A More Femine Way To Wear The Avery Jacket
As you know I like to show the jackets that I design on my blog styled in different ways so my clients can see how to wear them. I also do this for other jackets I own, but more so for the ones I design and sell. The Avery jacket has been one of our best selling jackets for spring. I think the fact that it is so easy and casual to throw on top of any outfit makes it a winner. The beautiful baby blue color doesn’t hurt either. Last time I showed this jacket with my jeans and gladiator heels and made the whole look modern and edgy. This time I wanted to show it in a softer, more feminine way. When the opportunity arose to have dinner with a dear friend that I hadn’t seen in a long time, I decided to wear my Avery jacket but this time over a dress. I bought this dress last year from “All Saints” because of its beautiful and interesting draping details. My pictures here do not do it justice and you really have to see it close up. This kind of intricate draping is one of their signatures and they always have beautifully draped and cut silhouettes in their dresses, tops and jackets. Overall, their look comes across as young and edgy but there are definite pieces that you can choose and mix within your own wardrobe to make it less edgy. I thought pairing it with my Avery jacket was perfect because my jacket also has a soft drape and the two pieces combine together effortlessly. Having said all that about our Avery jacket, I wanted to let you know that we are having a great summer sale on our jackets right now. Everything is 20% off so if you are interested in the Avery jacket now is the time to grab one before they are all gone. Nora,
I love this jacket on you. Amazing that you design and model as well. I love the shape of the jacket and the baby blue color is soft to begin with,so this is a lovely look. As I think you mentioned the gladiator heels “edge it up” and the dress has such a pretty draping to begin with. I also like the long gold jewerly you styled with it. Pretty look!!!

This jacket is amazing. The drape front keeps it from being to buttoned down, but still professional. Love the All Saints dress you paired it with as well.

I love how you’ve styled your Avery jacket today. I like the soft colour against the black and the gold accessories are in keeping with the classic nature of the LBD. I love how All Saints bring a modern feel by the draping and cut of the dress.

Hi Lorna Mai
Thank you so much and I agree All Saints does have the best draping in a lot of their pieces. I usually love gold jewlery with black, very classic.

I love both stylings on you, Nora! While I wear a lot of dresses myself and often pair them with blazers, I also love the cool and edgy look on you. The draped collar of the jacket is beautiful and the soft blue goes so well with your hair and your tan!
